Nuevo Vallarta

Nuevo Vallarta is very pretty. It is very fancy. We are staying in the Grand Mayan Hotel, which feels way out of my league, anyway. It is super nice. I miss San Jose, Costa Rica, a bit. Especially my friends.

I've walked on the beach with my family and gone running a few times. Today, we went parasailing, at least me, Hannah, and Charla. They loved it! I had gone once before, so it wasn't so new to me, but it was still really fun!

Yesterday, we went to do the Canopy zipline tour. It was good, but mom didn't like it! She was very nervous the whole time. There were 12 lines total. It took several hours. I got to go upside down with one of the guides. It was pretty cool! After, we, at least dad and me, got to taste some coffee and cappuchino-flavored tequilas, which were very good. Plus, we took some pictures sitting in some hammocks and swings while waiting for the bus.

We leave out in two days. Right now, the family is at the dolphin-swimming thing down the beach. I'm just relaxing!

Yep, The Grand Mayan is fancy! In fact, it is the fanciest place I've ever stayed...I'm very glad you guys are getting to stay there! At least once during a lifetime you should get to enjoy the luxury of a place like that. :) I'm sure it contrasts to some places you have seen as you've traveled in Costa Rica. I'm certainly not saying you have to have luxury accommodations to have a good trip, (many trips we've been on had less than decent lodging but absolutely wonderful trips anyways!), but I'm glad you've had them while in Mexico. It is nice to be pampered every now and then. It's also nice to see different cultures and be able to really appreciate what we do have. Anyways. I'm sooo excited that you got to do the Zip Line Tours. That looked like so much fun, but our kids were way too little so we did not get to do that while we were there. I hope they have fun with the dolphins today! Enjoy the time and the trip. Thanks for the update!
